India & Nepal Tour --- 08 Days / 07 Nights

(Delhi - Kathmandu - Varanasi - Agra - Fatehpur Sikri - Jaipur)

 

Day 1: Arrival Delhi- Kathmandu (By flight): Arrival Delhi, remain in transit for Kathmandu flight. Meet & greet at Kathmandu Airport and transfer to hotel. Overnight hotel. 

 

Day 2: Kathmandu: Visit Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhnath Stupa, Sleeping Bishnu, and Kathmandu's Durbar Square. Evening visit to Thamel, Kathmandu's local shopping area. Overnight hotel

Day 3: Kathmandu - Varanasi by flight: Transfer to airport for Varanasi flight. Meet & greet in Varanasi, check-in hotel. Later visit Sarnathwhere Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon. Also visit temples and Banaras Hindu University. Evening witness the holy Aarti ceremony.Overnight hotel.

Day 4: Varanasi - Delhi by flight – Agra (04 hrs):

Enjoy boat tour on River Ganges, return to hotel for breakfast and board the flight to Delhi. Meet & greet in Delhi and drive to Agra. Overnight hotel.

Day 5: Agra - Fatehpur Sikri - Jaipur (6 hrs): Visit world famous Taj Mahal, the most extravagant monument ever built for love (Friday closed)& Agra Fort. Later drive to Jaipur visiting Fatehpur Sikri the ghost city. Overnight hotel.

Day 6: Jaipur:

Amber Fort excursion, ascend by jeep / car. Visit Sheesh Mahal (Hall of victory) - a hall glittering with mirrors. Afternoon visit maharaja's City Palace, Jantar-Mantar observatory and drive past Hawa Mahal. Overnight hotel.

Day 7: Jaipur - Delhi (5.5 hrs): Drive to Delhi, check-in. Overnight hotel.

 

Day 8: Delhi - Departure: Visit Raj Ghat (Cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi), Jama Masjid and drive past Red Fort (closed on Mondays).Afternoon visit QutabMinar, Humanyun's Tomb, India Gate (War Memorial) and drive past President & Parliament House.Later transfer to airport for onward flight.
